- Burn The Radio is a new and up and coming band out of Virginia beach, Virginia. The concept for this band was born in the fall of 2007, when guitarist and lead singer Joshua Shelly, and guitarist Brian Lindberg began pooling their creative riffs and licks. From this Burn The Radio was born. Due to transient band members Burn The Radio’s progression was minimal. The summer of 2009 bassist Ryan VanDusen joined the band and a few short months later drummer Derek Slate completed the band. Burn The Radio then began to write their debut EP. On December 12th, 2009, Burn The Radio released their self-titled EP. The music is a blend of many genres, rock, indie, experimental, and progressive. The overall sound is very original and Burn The Radio is very proud of that. Enjoy.
